Langweilig wird es nie...

Stellt euch vor, letzte Woche am Freitag ist eine unserer Filialen ueberfallen worden. Hier der online-Bericht:

TEMPE -- Tempe police are looking for a suspect who robbed an Arizona Central Credit Union Friday afternoon. Police say the suspect entered the credit union near Southern Avenue and Price Road and shouted, "Don't hit the alarm," while displaying a handgun. Police say the suspect demanded all of the money from the tellers' cashdrawers. He also demanded that the money be placed into a baby blue pillowcase that he provided. The suspect then ran out of the credit union. No one was injured and the suspect did not fire his weapon. The suspect is described as a white male, in his 30s, 5 feet 11 inchesto 6 feet tall with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a dark knit beanie cap, black sunglasses, a white T-shirt over a black shirt, tanshorts and sandals. He was also seen carrying a handgun and a baby blue pillowcase containing cash. The suspect was last seen traveling southbound on Price Road in a late model maroon Chevrolet Monte Carlo with a number of stickers on its rearwindow.

Gefunden haben sie den Typen nat. noch nicht. Diese Filiale ist eine der "meist ausgeraubten", weil sie genau neben dem Highway liegt und daher gute Fluchtmoeglichkeiten bietet. Meinen Arbeitskollegen ist zum Glueck nichts passiert, aber schockiert waren wir doch alle. Noch dazu hat der Typ den Leuten die Pistole mitten ins Gesicht gehalten... Unfassbar!

Was gibts sonst noch Neues? Ich hab heute meine 6 month review gehabt. Mary (meine Chefin) war aeusserst zufrieden mit mir und meiner Arbeit und hat mir eine 5% Lohnerhoehung gegeben. Auch nicht schlecht, oder?! Ein toller Start ins Wochenende...
